U15s off to England Posted on 30 July 2010 - 16:22  Orlando Pirates Under15 team is set to jet out of South Africa to England with a clean bill of health.
This revelation was made by Professor Augusto Palacios who has also expressed his desire to see his charges improving from last years performance in the tournament where they were knocked out in the group stages.
With a day prior to their departure to the old-continent, the team had an open training session in full view of the local media this morning at the Nike Sports Complex in Pimville.
According to Palacios, after beginning preparations on June 24, all looks good for the Sowetans to grab some silverware as they gear to represent the continent alongside Ghanas Right to Dream Academy.
The team looks good and the players are fit. Today was like a farewell we are bidding to the fans as we leave on Saturday (31 August)
we thank God there are no injuries and we will go there to play our football. We will definitely be a different team from last year. There five players who have played in this tournament before and they are ready, said Palacios.
The team will leave OR Tambo International airport tomorrow evening.
