Bucs off to Namibia

The Orlando Pirates first team is due to fly out tomorrow to Namibia where they will start preparing for the Dr. Hage Geingob Cup.
The Mighty Buccaneers are scheduled to play 2015/16 Absa Premiership league champions Mamelodi Sundowns in a semi-final encounter on Saturday. The winner between these two South African giants, will play against the winner in the match between Tigers FC and African Stars.
Head Coach Muhsin Ertugral will be taking a full strength team as he continues to prepare his charges for what promises to be a tightly contested 2016/17 campaign.
Ertugral is currently busy working with different combinations readying for the opening week of the season.
Kick-off on Saturday is scheduled for 16h00 at the Independence Stadium, while the first semifinal will be played two hours earlier. On Sunday, there will be an exhibition match between two local sides at 12h00 followed by the third and fourth playoff at 14h00 and then the final at 16h00.
According to the organisers, tickets are currently on sale at Computicket for Fans can purchase tickets for Saturday and Sunday for N$30.
Bucs See Off Eagles
On Tuesday, Orlando Pirates played against First Division outfit Royal Eagles at the Orlando Stadium.
The Buccaneers came from a goal down to win the match 3-1 with goals courtesy of Luvuyo Memela and a second half brace from Tendai Ndoro.
This match afforded Ertugral an opportunity to work on various aspects that the team looks to improve on before the season starts.
