Riyaad Norodien produced another sterling performance in South Africa’s 2-0 victory over Botswana in the Cosafa Cup Plate Semi Final played at the Moruleng Stadium tonight.

Norodien, who was singled out by newly appointed Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter as being one of the better performers in his sides’ disappointing loss to Tanzania; scored opening goal of the match in the 33rd minute before Judas Moseamedi netted the second late in the second half.

Meanwhile, the match also saw Orlando Pirates youngster Tercious Malepe get a run at centre back.

South Africa will now wait to see who they will face in the final when Namibia and Swaziland meet in the second semi final.

The final is scheduled for July 7.
