Injury Update

Nkosinathi Mthiyane has been ruled out of the final Absa Premiership clash of the year against Free State Stars this weekend. Mthiyane who came off the bench to play the last ten minutes in Orlando Pirates’ 1-all draw with Amazulu, injured his quad earlier in the week and will need to undergo physiotherapy to treat his injury.
Meanwhile, Thembinkosi Lorch is said to be nearing full recovery from a hamstring strain that saw him miss the previous two matches. However, it remains to be seen whether the winger will form part of the travelling squad tomorrow as he is still experiencing pain and discomfort. The 24-year old is expected to undergo a late fitness test.
Another player who looks set to miss the trip to the Free State is Thabo Qalinge. The 26-year old is still recovering from a groin strain which has kept him out of action for the last three weeks.
