Playing varsity football for UJ, Ayanda was scouted by Ernst Middendorp and signed a professional contract for Maritzburg United. The Teko Modise fan scored in his PSL debut against Mpumalanga Black Aces, with his team winning the game 2-1.
Free State Stars then signed the striker in 2016, and his performance caught the eye of Orlando Pirates. He started for the Bucs in 2016. The striker's ambition at Orlando Pirates is to be the club's top goal scorer for at least 2 consecutive years, and to win trophies for the loyal supporters. Outside of playing football, the Secunda born player loves to play FIFA, watch football and spend time with his family. Ayanda still studies part-time to prepare for a career post football.
