Following another successful FUT Champions Weekend with 29 wins in 30 matches, Orlando Pirates eSports player Mohamed Diop has hit a new high as he closed out the month ranked #36 in the world on PlayStation.

To put this achievement into perspective, the young Senegalese finished ranked #5 for the Africa & Middle East region, and is the only African player that appears on the FIFA19 PlayStation Top 100 for October.

''It is an honour for me to be the only African player featuring in the global Top 100. Hopefully I will also be able to represent the continent as well as Pirates eSports on the live FUT Champions’ Cup events'' said Diop.

In more good news for Pirates eSports, the latest signing @Pirates_Riaasat got verified by EA to compete in the next stages for Professional players, after getting the required 27 wins In 30 latest matches.

Six Pirates eSports players are now verified by EA Sports to compete on the Global stage for the 2019 season.
