After an exciting opening month of the 2023/24 season, the OPPOxPIRATES Goal of the Month competition is back. One Orlando Pirates player and a lucky fan have the chance to win a brand new OPPO watch.
The Buccaneers have kicked off their campaign in style by netting an impressive 19 goals across three competitions during the month of August, with 10 named as nominees for the season’s first OPPOxPirates Goal of the Month competition.
Midfielders Patrick Maswanganyi, Monnapule Saleng and Phillip Ndlondlo each feature among the nominees, while wing back Bandile Shandu has two goals shortlisted.
In-form striker Zakhele Lepasa features most prominently in the list, having been in prolific goal-scoring form in the early part of the campaign.
The 26-year-old has so far struck 10 times in all competitions, and half of his goals have been nominated for August Goal of the Month.
One of the five Bucs stars could walk off with an OPPO Watch along with a lucky fan who could win big by simply casting their vote for the OPPOxPIRATES August Goal of the Month on any official Orlando Pirates social media platform.
The competition closes at 17h00 on Sunday, 11 September.
