The Buccaneers will be without influential midfielder Vincent Pule when they tackle Soweto rivals, Swallows FC at Orlando Stadium on Sunday, as the 28-year-old serves a one match suspension.
Pule was cautioned on the half-hour mark during the Buccaneers’ 1-0 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Versfeld last Saturday.
This means that Coach Josef Zinnbauer will have to shuffle his pack ahead of the weekend’s Soweto Derby, with the player only due back ahead of the Bucs’ visit to Venda for a clash against Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila on Wednesday, 13 January.
Meanwhile, in terms of injuries, the Bucs medical team has confirmed that Zakhele Lepasa (Malleolus), Tshegofatso Mabasa (Metatarsal) and Abel Mabaso (Ulna) are still some way off from returning to full training. The trio continue to undergo rehabilitation with the strength and conditioning team for their respective injuries.
