RIP Mama Winnie

Orlando Pirates Football Club is saddened to hear of the passing of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, mother of our nation.

We salute the great contribution she has made in her fight for freedom for the oppressed. Her unique wisdom and commitment to the ideals of justice and humanity, shall serve as an example to us all.

To Zenani and Zindzi, we convey our heartfelt and deepest sympathy to you and your Family and pledge our profound moral support. We supplicate that God gives you fortitude at this moment of extreme grief and pain.

May her soul repose peacefully
