The Orlando Pirates reserve team have bounced back to winning ways in the SAB League following their 5-2 victory over FC Meadowlands in Randburg on Sunday afternoon.
A hat-trick from Zakhele Lepasa and goals from Fezile Gcaba and Vukani Sokhela were enough to see the young Buccaneers regain first place on the log after they had been temporarily dislodged by rivals Kaizer Chiefs following their win over Randburg Football Club on Saturday.
With this win, Pirates move to 35 points with one more game to play to conclude the first round of games of the season.
Pirates will play against FC Porto before the league goes into recess for the festive break. The match will be played on December 9 at the Randburg Football Grounds.
