Soweto Derby Matchday Information

General Spectator Information:

- Arrive Early, gates will open at 11H30am

- Avoid traffic congestion

- Arrive with your ticket in hand

- Tickets will NOT be sold at the stadium

- Anyone caught selling tickets at the stadium will be arrested

- Use the traffic management plan to avoid road closures.

At the stadium:

- Right of admission is reserved

- Illegally parked vehicles will be towed by the traffic authorities at owners risk

- Please note that you will be subjected to a search of your person & belongings at

stadium spectator access points

- Commercial activities not authorized in writing by Event Organizer, are not allowed in the stadium precinct

- All juveniles must have a ticket and be accompanied by an adult

- Children under 12 will only be allowed on level 5,

- Lost Children Enquiries can be made at Lift Lobby U on the southern side of the venue

- No persons visibly under the influence of liquor or any narcotic will be allowed into the stadium

- For safety reasons, please do not sit in the spectator staircases and walkways in the

grandstands.

EVENT DAY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT

- Road Closures will be in effect from 10H00 onwards

- Motorists are again advised not to be directed to illegal parking areas by illegal car

guards

- General public parking will ONLY be available at the Nasrec Expo Centre and

Shareworld (All parking tickets will be sold via Computicket outlets)

Recommended Vehicular Approach Routes:

The dedicated vehicular routings to the Stadium VIP, hospitality & public parking areas for this event are:

- VIP & Hospitality Guests: via N1 and N17 off ramp

- Physically challenged drivers: via N1 and N17 off-ramp

- General Public: via N1 and Rand Show Road off-ramp (preferred) and Orlando Stadium via M1 & Nasrec road onto Rand Show Road. The N17 will be strictly shut down, the general public will not be allowed to use this route.

Metrorail

Metrorail train services will run from Johannesburg Station to Nasrec Station before and after the game as per the schedule below. Tickets are free of Charge.

Rea Vaya

Rea Vaya will be operating from its stations along the Rea Vaya phase 1A and phase 1B route to the FNB Stadium. Fans will be dropped off and picked up at the Soccer City Rea Vaya Station after the match.

Ticket prices are R15 for a single trip and R30 for a return ticket.
