Born in Lusaka, Augustine Mulenga grew up supporting Orlando Pirates. He started playing football from the tender age of 9 for Kanyama Site and Service while he lived in Chibolya Compound. Mulenga has since served Nkwazi FC, Nkana Red Devils and more recently, Zanaco FC before joining the Mighty Buccaneers in 2018. The 2017 Zambian Footballer of the Year is now honoured to represent his childhood club and states that the badge gives him the motivation to work hard and perform on the football pitch.

With Old Trafford being his favourite stadium in the world, Diego enjoys playing FIFA and spending time with his Zambian teammate, Justin Shonga.
