Originally from Rumphi in Malawi, Gabadinho started playing football in the streets of Mlowe Village before he went on to pursue a professional career with a local third division team called Brave Warriors. It was not long before Mhango caught the eye of a talent scout from Big Bullets who witnessed the striker scoring 6 goals in one game. “Inkosi” played Super League football in Malawi before agent Mike Makaab brought him to South Africa.

Now a Buccaneer, Mhango hopes to grow as a player with Orlando Pirates and commits his intentions to continue the legacy of the legends who have written their named in the history books of the Club.

Apart from football, Gabadinho focussed his interests in community outreach programs that help young people establish themselves financially and morally.
